North Korea’s artillery drill was held under the supervision of Kim Jong-un
North Korea held an artillery drill on Wednesday (23) July with the aim of testing the combat readiness and offensive capabilities of its troops.
The drill, which was conducted under the direct supervision of the country’s leader Kim Jong-un, was designed to assess the capabilities of combat deployment and attack unexpected enemy targets in the coastal environment.
According to North Korea’s state news agency (KCNA), the exercises were aimed at strengthening military capabilities and preparing to confront potential threats.
The exercise took place amid ongoing tensions on the Korean Peninsula due to joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea.
Kim Jong-un emphasized the importance of holding such drills to maintain military power and deterrence against enemies.
