Yemeni missile attack closes Ben Gurion Airport
Following a missile attack this morning (Tuesday, July 22) by Yemeni armed forces on occupied territories, Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport was closed.
The attack, which came less than 24 hours after Israeli warplanes bombed the Yemeni port of Hodeidah, sent millions of Israelis into shelters and left several planes stranded in the sky, unable to land.
Israeli media reported that alarm bells were activated in the center of the occupied territories.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry called the Israeli attack on Hodeidah a war crime and a violation of international law, and emphasized the increasing resistance of the Yemeni people.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces also announced that drone operations were successfully carried out against targets in the occupied territories, including Ben Gurion Airport, the port of Eilat, and Ashdod, in response to Israeli aggression and in support of Palestine.
