A prominent genocide studies scholar and New York Times columnist has made shocking statements that Israel has committed “genocide” against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The researcher, who grew up in a Zionist family, spent half of his life in Israel, and served in the regime’s army, emphasized that it was very difficult for him to reach this conclusion.
Citing more than 25 years of experience teaching in the field of genocide, he stated that Israel’s actions in Gaza clearly constitute genocide.
This view is in line with the opinions of other experts, including Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights, Amnesty International, and the South African government.
These accusations have intensified global debates about the situation in Gaza.
