Baloch separatists attack Mastung headquarters in Balochistan province, Pakistan
According to local sources and Pakistani media, a group of Baloch separatist fighters attacked the town of Mastung in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on July 1, 2025, and captured the town’s police headquarters.
According to local media, dozens of armed Baloch fighters attacked the Mastung police headquarters and took control of the security center after heavy fighting.
Local sources also confirmed that the attackers set fire to several military vehicles belonging to Pakistani security forces and caused significant damage to government facilities.
This armed group, classified as a terrorist organization by the Pakistani government, has been fighting for Balochistan’s independence for years and has targeted security forces and government infrastructure.
Pakistani officials have not yet released a statement on the details of the attack, but the Pakistani military recently announced that two Baloch separatist fighters were killed and two others arrested in an operation in Balochistan.
