Coup attempt in Armenia foiled
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says a coup attempt by traitors to the nation in Armenia has been thwarted.
According to Trend news agency, Pashinyan also detailed the opposition’s plan to overthrow the government and announced that former Armenian presidents and Russian companies played a role in this conspiracy to carry out a coup in Armenia.
The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that law enforcement agencies have thwarted large-scale and insidious plans prepared by “criminal-oligarch-church” circles aimed at destabilizing the country and seizing power.
The Armenian Investigative Committee also stated in its report that the “Holy Struggle” movement led by Archbishop Vazgen Galestyan has been accused of terrorism and an attempt to seize power.
