Mujahid: We are in contact with Iranian authorities to ensure the security of Afghan refugees
As Israeli attacks on some Iranian cities intensify, the Islamic Emirate announces contacts with Iranian government officials to ensure the safety of Afghan refugees and address their concerns.
Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, says that if necessary, solutions have been considered to prevent harm to Afghan refugees.
Mr. Mujahid said in this regard, “We hope that God willing, the migrants will not be harmed and the situation will be controllable; we are still in contact with all officials and institutions so that, God forbid, we can explore solutions in the event of a problem.”
On the other hand, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriates has also asked Afghans living in Iran to refrain from attending sensitive military locations and participating in political gatherings and party activities.
