A day before Israel attacked Iran, US President Donald Trump warned of the possibility of a major war in the Middle East.
US officials have told CNN that US embassies in the Middle East have recently conducted emergency action assessments.
In response to the question of what the Israelis told him about the withdrawal of American forces from the region, Trump stated, “They didn’t tell me anything, but I said, ‘Look, there is a possibility of widespread conflict.'”
