The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement announced in a statement the martyrdom of Sheikh Dr. Asaad Attiyah Abu Sharia, known as “Abu Sheikh”, the Secretary General and founder of the movement and the commander-in-chief of its military wing.
He was martyred along with his brother Ahmed Attiyah Abu Sharia, a senior member of the movement’s leadership and responsible for the Gaza region, in an Israeli airstrike this morning (Sunday, June 8) on the “Sabra” area in Gaza City.
Dozens of family members of these two commanders were also martyred in this attack.
