Trump and Musk’s confrontation over budget and government contracts intensifies

The tension between Elon Musk and Donald Trump has gone beyond a disagreement over budget and has now become a public and personal battle between the US president and one of the world’s most influential technology figures.

The tension between US President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, has entered a new phase.

After Musk criticized the government’s proposed budget plan, Trump called him “crazy” and suggested that all federal contracts for his companies be canceled.

Trump announced that he had asked Musk to step down from his position as chairman of a government advisory board, adding that ending financial support for his companies could save billions of dollars.

He also claimed that Musk had no objection to the approval of the budget plan and only took a position after learning of the reduction in support for electric vehicles.
