Arab League strongly reacts to the Zionist regime’s prevention of its delegation’s entry into Palestinian territories

Following the Zionist regime’s prevention of the entry of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee delegation to the city of Ramallah in the occupied Palestinian territories, the Arab League issued a strongly worded statement describing the action as a “clear violation of international law” and “an attempt to isolate the Palestinian nation and leadership.”

According to Samaa News Agency, Jamal Rushdi, spokesman for the Secretary-General of the Arab League, said that according to previous plans, a high-level delegation from the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee was supposed to arrive in Ramallah to review developments in the war in Gaza and meet with Mahmoud Abbas, the head of the Palestinian Authority, but officials from the Israeli occupation regime prevented this trip.

Rushdi quoted Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, as saying that this arrogant decision by the occupying regime reflects a clear disregard for the principles of diplomacy and international law, and is a continuation of a hostile approach aimed at marginalizing the Palestinian people and its legitimate leadership.
