The Quds Brigades announced in a statement on Monday night that they targeted a group of soldiers from an Israeli army infantry battalion in the Atatira area, located in the northern Gaza Strip, with 60mm mortar shells.
The military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement added that the mortar hit the target directly.
