UNRWA’s 90 aid trucks are a drop in the ocean to meet the needs of the Gaza Strip
Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), says that the arrival of 90 trucks carrying humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip yesterday is like a drop in the ocean compared to the needs of the Strip.
On the other hand, the UN Secretary-General says that Israel must respect international humanitarian law and allow the entry and delivery of humanitarian aid.
He also said: Israel has only allowed 50 trucks out of 400 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
Guterres further stated that the Israeli regime, as the occupier, must agree to allow the entry and facilitation of necessary aid to Gaza.
