Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi says that we have already responded to unreasonable requests and that these unusual statements do not help the talks.
He added: “Our position is absolutely clear: enrichment will continue whether with or without an agreement, but if the parties wish to have transparency regarding Iran’s peaceful program, we are ready, but in return, they must also hold talks about lifting the sanctions that were cruelly imposed due to the claims about our nuclear program.”
Mr. Araqchi warned that if they have more demands than this and want to deprive us of things that are our rights, there is no room for acceptance.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also added that we are considering whether to participate in the next round of negotiations… We will confront the excesses at the negotiating table, but we have never abandoned diplomacy and are still considering whether fruitful negotiations can take place at that date and in that place.
