The development of relations and the humanitarian disaster in Gaza are key discussions in Araqchi’s trip to Doha
In Doha, Seyed Abbas Araghchi talked with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar about bilateral relations and ways to develop relations in areas of interest.
Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani and Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, by reviewing the latest regional developments, especially the humanitarian disaster in Gaza and Israel’s obstruction of sending food and medical aid to the Gaza Strip, emphasized the importance of greater cooperation between the countries of the region to end the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people.
In this meeting, Mr. Araghchi informed his Qatari counterpart about the developments in the process of indirect talks between Iran and the United States.
It should be mentioned that Iran’s foreign minister had traveled to Doha for the purpose of participating in the fourth meeting of Iran-Arab World dialogue.
