Reuters has reported, citing the White House, that US President Donald Trump is scheduled to sign an executive order closing the Ministry of Education on Thursday 20th of March.
Trump and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk have tried to shut down government programs and agencies such as the United States International Development Agency, but closing the Department of Education would be Trump’s first attempt to close a cabinet-level agency.
It should be said that according to the US Constitution, this ministry cannot be blocked without the approval of the Congress of this country.
