The gathering of 100,000 supporters of Imamoglu in Istanbul and Erdogan’s response with an iron fist
The demonstration of several thousand people, which started in Istanbul on Wednesday (20th of March )and then moved to Ankara, continued until Thursday morning, and the control of some of the main roads in Istanbul fell into the hands of the protesters.
Turkish security forces attacked protesters against the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul using anti-riot equipment, including tear gas, on Thursday morning.
