The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that Abdullah Makki Mosleh al-Rifa’i, known as Abu Khadija, was killed in an airstrike in Iraq’s Anbar province, along with a member of Daesh.
According to Centcom, Abu Khadija was the second most powerful person in the ISIL leadership structure and was responsible for coordinating the group’s logistical operations and global planning.
