Holding the first Friday prayer of Ramadan in Gaza on the ruins of mosques
The destruction caused by the war of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip did not prevent the Palestinians from holding the first Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan on the ruins of mosques.
In the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, worshipers stood on the ruins of a mosque to perform the first Friday prayer of the holy month of Ramadan.
They emphasized that faith does not disappear and worship does not disappear.
In the middle of the destruction and with the sound of the call to prayer rising from the rubble, the worshipers stood in line and performed their prayers with humility and determination.
Their current language is that the occupying regime may destroy the mosques, but it can never destroy the faith in the hearts of the people and erase their identity.
They emphasize that the struggle is not only with weapons but also with persistence and maintaining stability against hardships.
During the war of the Zionist regime against Gaza, the infrastructure of this region was exposed to extensive destruction and thousands of residential and commercial buildings and vital centers such as mosques, hospitals and schools were destroyed.
