Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Emir of Qatar, met with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Iranian People’s Revolution, during his trip to Iran.
Based on Iranian media reports, the leader of Iran said that we consider Qatar a friendly and brotherly country and expanding relations with neighbors is the definite policy of the Islamic Republic.
In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei added that there is no difference between American presidents.
The Emir of Qatar also expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the leader of Iran and appreciated Iran’s position in supporting the Palestinian people.
The Emir of Qatar added that Iran’s leader standing by the Palestinian people will never be forgotten.
In this meeting, the construction of an underwater tunnel, which was previously agreed between Iran and Qatar, was also discussed, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani also said that based on the agreement, the joint commission of the two countries will be activated soon.
