Axios news website reported, citing two informed sources, that US and Russian officials will meet in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday (18th of February) to begin negotiations aimed at ending the nearly three-year-old conflict.
The purpose of these talks is to organize a meeting with Trump and Putin to “eventually establish peace and end this conflict.”
According to Congressman Michael McCall, US Secretary of State Rubio, National Security Adviser Walz and Special Representative Witkoff will travel to Riyadh from the US.
