The 13th session of the Lebanese Parliament began to end the two-year presidential vacuum in this country.
This meeting is held while General “Joseph Aoun”, the commander of the Lebanese army, has the best chance to be elected as the new president of this country. Because on the one hand, he has the support of several regional and international countries, and on the other hand, his main rival, Suleiman Franjieh, withdrew his candidacy for the presidency yesterday by supporting Aoun.
