Pakistani Shia sit-in in six locations in Karachi turns violent with police raid

By closing some roads in Karachi, the Shiites demanded the opening of the route from Peshawar to the Shiite region of Parachenar, which has been closed by the Takfiris.

Murad Ali Shah, Minister of Sindh State, called the sit-ins as disrupters of public order in a press conference and said that the protests should not lead to the closure of the main roads.

He also said that lawbreakers and those who set fire to several vehicles and motorcycles in Karachi after police attacked a sit-in of Shia protesters following the continued siege of the city of Parachenar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province near the border with Afghanistan. Those who damage public places will be identified and punished.
