Türkiye’s new logo for the new Syrian government
Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that if the new Syrian government fails to address Ankara’s concerns about US-backed Kurdish groups, Turkey will take any necessary measures to ensure its national security.
In an interview, he said that Turkey’s preference is for the new Damascus government to resolve these issues within the framework of Syria’s territorial integrity, and emphasized that the People’s Defense Forces should be disbanded immediately.
Fidan also emphasized that military action will be taken against these groups if necessary.
Fidan also criticized the recent increase of American troops in Syria and called it a “wrong” decision.
He said that the fight against ISIS is only limited to keeping the prisoners of this group in prisons, and supporting the people’s defense camps with this excuse is unacceptable.
