Leader of Tahrir al-Sham do not approach government institutions until the transfer of power
Ahmad al-Sharia, known as Abu Mohammad Jolani, the leader of the Syrian editorial board, at the same time as announcing the fall of the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, told his forces not to approach government institutions until the transfer of power.
According to international media reports, the leader of Tahrir al-Sham announced on Sunday (8th of December) that government institutions will be under the supervision of Prime Minister Bashar al-Assad until the official handover.
Meanwhile, Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Jalali emphasized in a video message that he is ready to hand over power to any group that the people have chosen.
The Syrian Prime Minister also noted that he will not leave Damascus until the official transfer of power.
The leader of Tahrir al-Sham still asked his forces not to shoot from the air and prohibited it.
Meanwhile, Tahrir al-Sham announced the complete fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government.
According to reports, Bashar Assad was taken out of Syria by a plane and went to an unknown place.
Tahrir al-Sham began operations to capture Syrian cities about two weeks ago, which soon managed to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
