The Minister of State in Germany’s Federal Office of Foreign Relations strongly criticized the actions of the Zionist regime in preventing humanitarian aid from entering Gaza.
Tobias Linder, Minister of State at the German Federal Office for Foreign Affairs, says that Israel has no excuse for preventing humanitarian aid from being sent to Gaza.
On the eve of his trip to Egypt, Linder said, “Today, we desperately need an agreement to release the prisoners, as well as an immediate ceasefire.”
The violent clashes must end and the blockade of the northern Gaza Strip must be lifted; According to this German official, Israel must fulfill its promises and guarantee sufficient access to humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza at any time.
There is no justification for Israel to prevent ordinary people from accessing humanitarian aid; Linder further emphasized that Israel’s right to defend itself must be within the framework of humanitarian law.
At the same time, he called for the beginning of a political process that includes the role of Palestine in the Gaza Strip, as well as an agreement on the resolution of the conflict based on a two-state solution.
In recent months, Israel has intensified the blockade of the Gaza Strip, especially the northern areas, so that the United Nations recently announced that all the bakeries in Gaza were closed due to the lack of flour.
