In a letter to the Security Council, Iran’s representative in the United Nations called for an emergency meeting to deal with the aggression of the occupying Israeli regime.
It is stated in this letter that we condemn the aggressive and cowardly actions of the Israeli regime in Lebanon in the strongest terms and we also ask the Council to strongly condemn the actions of Israel.
Iran’s representation in the United Nations also warned against any attack on its diplomatic headquarters and representatives and emphasized that Iran will not hesitate to defend its national interests and security.
