Former Lebanese Interior Minister Marwan Charbel said on Tuesday that the blast at the pager communication device in Beirut was a terrorist act carried out by the Israeli regime.
Sharbel told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed newspaper: “There is no doubt that what happened is a terrorist act that has targeted Hezbollah forces and Lebanese citizens and civilians in different regions of the country.”
The Lebanese politician also said that an investigation is underway to determine how this happened.
