Officials participating in the Contact Group meeting in Madrid, which consists of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, along with European countries, issued a statement calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the mutual release of Zionist and Palestinian prisoners.
This statement also asks the Zionist regime to hand over the control of the Rafah crossing to the Palestinian Authority and to withdraw the occupying army forces from the Gaza Strip, including the Philadelphia axis.
