Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the meeting of strategic dialogue between Russia and the countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
This Russian diplomat went to Riyadh to discuss a wide range of regional and international issues while participating in the meeting between Russia and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
According to Russian media reports, Lavrov will hold a series of bilateral meetings with other officials on the sidelines of Monday’s meeting.
Regional and international issues such as security in the Persian Gulf region, crisis resolution and Russian coordination countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the oil and gas market will be one of the other axes of his agenda.
According to the TASS news agency, the heads of delegations participating in the Riyadh meeting also discussed the situation of West Asian region, including the escalation of the Palestinian conflict and Israel, developments in Syria, Yemen and Libya will be discussed
This Russian state media also reported that Lavrov is looking for consultations to implement joint projects in the field nuclear energy.
