According to the Axios report of the United States, citing the aforementioned officials, it was announced that this meeting, which was not announced by the White House or the Cabinet of the Zionist regime, was initiated by the administration of the President of the United States, Joe Biden, and to examine the approach of the Israeli side and coordinate the policies of the two sides regarding The situation in Lebanon was held.
Axios added that this virtual meeting lasted for an hour and the US team was headed by consultant Jake Sullivan
America’s national security was in charge, and two of Biden’s advisers, Amos Ho Kestein and Brett McGurk, participated in this meeting.
The Israeli team was also led by Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Drummer, a close figure to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the officials said.
