Richard Bennett, the UN Human Rights Council’s special rapporteur for Afghanistan, has called on the Islamic Emirate to reverse its decision and allow him to travel to Afghanistan.
Mr. Bennett says his travel ban to Afghanistan raises concerns about the interim government’s interaction with the international community.
He added that he had not traveled to Afghanistan in the past year and said he would continue his duties.
Before this, Maulvi Zabihullah Mujahid the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said that Richard Bennett due to providing false information about the trip to Afghanistan is banned.
