Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emir of the United Arab Emirates, met with Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, on Friday (16th of August).
During the meeting, Mohammad Hassan Akhund appreciated the UAE’s historic role in providing humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan through the implementation of development projects and support for reconstruction and development in Afghanistan, the UAE news agency said.
In this meeting, Anas Haqqani, a senior member of the emirate Islamic and also Deputy Minister of Public Works Bakhtur Rahman Sharaf was also present.
