Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a ceasefire in Gaza in a telephone conversation with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu.
By publishing a message on social networks, Modi announced Netanyahu’s phone call on the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day.
The Indian prime minister stressed that in talks with Netanyahu, he called for the immediate release of prisoners, a ceasefire and the continuation of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
