Iran’s media have announced the beginning of the second phase of the country’s presidential elections a few moments ago (Friday morning, 5th of July).
According to Iranian media reports, the second phase of the 14th Iranian elections has begun throughout the country and for citizens outside Iran, and in this phase, Masoud Pezishkian and Saeed Jalili are competing together.
Iran’s presidential election went to the second round after none of the six candidates managed to win the majority of votes in the first round.
