The United Nations Security Council approved a resolution proposing a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza.
This council asked Hamas to accept the three-stage plan proposed by US President Joe Biden, which was accepted by Israel.
This resolution was passed with 14 votes in favor against no votes against and one abstention from Russia has been approved.
