After signing the agreement between India and Iran, I threatened the port of Chabahar, and anyone who trades with Iran will be exposed to Possible sanctions
Wadunt Patel, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State, told a news conference that there was no exemption for India and that sanctions were potentially applicable to all countries that deal with Iran.
“We will allow the India government to talk about the goals of foreign policy and itself in relation to the port of Chabahar, as well as its relations and bilateral relations with Iran,” said Dunt Patel.
A State Department spokeswoman also said that all institutions that consider a trade agreement with Iran must be taken away from the potential risk they poses to and the potential risk of sanctions.
