Foreign Minister Bakhtiar Saidov of Uzbikistan and his entourage met in Kabul with Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs.
The economic deputy wrote in a newsletter quoting Bakhtiar Saidov that Tashkent will accept the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in the near future.
The Uzbekistan Foreign Minister has also said in Kabul that his country is ready to cooperate with the Islamic Emirate in the technical parts of the Qosh Tappeh canal.
According to this newsletter, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar emphasized that Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have common interests in various sectors and now a good ground is provided for achieving these interests.
