Mufti Abdul Matin Ghane, the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, says that on Saturday afternoon, 3 March detectives of the Ministry’s Department of Combating Criminal Crimes rescued a child from the clutches of abductors in the fourth security district of Kabul.
According to Mr. Qane, the kidnappers had kidnapped this child 14 days ago from the 11th district and demanded 800,000 US dollars from his family in exchange for his release.
According to the news report, a conflict occurred during this operation, as a result of which two kidnappers were also killed.
