US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is responsible for Washington’s pressure on Cuba, has claimed that he is confident that the country will enter a “completely different future” before the end of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Rubio has said that Washington wants Cuba to be a safe and stable country, living in “complete harmony” with the United States.
To explain his view, he pointed to the countries of Eastern Europe after the collapse of the Soviet Union, saying that these countries needed about three to five years to reach their current situation.
