Tahir Andarabi, spokesman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, announced that Islamabad does not want war with Afghanistan and considers the people of Afghanistan “its brothers and sisters.”
In a weekly press conference of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he said in response to the statements of Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, that the Islamic Emirate must clarify whether it wants to improve relations with Pakistan or, as he said, continue its ties with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Andarabi called support for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan the biggest obstacle in relations between Kabul and Islamabad, adding that as long as this situation continues, relations between the two countries will remain in their current state.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has always rejected any support for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and emphasizes that Afghan soil will not be used against any country and that Pakistan should not blame its internal security problems on others.
