A number of Palestinian supporters held a protest rally in front of the White House in Washington, coinciding with the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United States.
Carrying Palestinian flags and placards opposing US support for Israel, the protesters chanted slogans including “Stop the US war machine, Israel” and “Palestinian human rights are important too.”
These protests took place on the eve of Netanyahu’s meeting with Donald Trump, which is considered the eighth meeting between the two sides since the start of Trump’s second term as president.
