The death toll from a gas explosion at a coal mine in Changzhi city, Shaanxi province in northern China has risen to 90, China Central Television reported.
According to reports, the explosion occurred on Friday evening when 247 workers were inside the mine.
Chinese officials have said that search and rescue operations are continuing and rescue teams are trying to find the remaining workers.
Officials have also announced that investigations have begun to determine the root cause of the explosion.
