Putin invites Xi Jinping to visit Russia

During his meeting with Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited his Chinese counterpart to visit Russia next year and emphasized the expansion of bilateral cooperation between Moscow and Beijing.

Xi Jinping also said in these talks that China and Russia should cooperate to create a more just global governance system, and considered the relations between the two countries a factor of stability and predictability in the current tense world.

The two sides also emphasized the continuation of strategic cooperation in supporting the independent development of countries, strengthening international justice, and continuing the visa-free regime between Russia and China.

Putin also announced his readiness to participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Shenzhen, China.
