5.2 magnitude earthquake in southern China kills two, evacuates thousands
A 5.2-magnitude earthquake has struck Liuzhou city in southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Xinhua News Agency reported.
According to reports, more than 7,000 people were evacuated from vulnerable areas following the incident and about 300 rescue workers were dispatched to the scene.
Initial reports indicate that at least two people have died and one person is still missing.
