The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, officially confirmed the martyrdom of the brigade’s commander, “Izz al-Din al-Haddad,” in the Israeli regime’s attack.
Al-Mayadeen quoted Qassam as saying that Ezzeddine al-Haddad, his daughter’s husband, and a number of Palestinian citizens were martyred in the attack.
According to the statement, the commander was targeted following an assassination operation by Israeli forces in central Gaza City, and the attack was called a “clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.”
The Qassam Brigades have emphasized that this event will provide further motivation for the Palestinian people to continue their struggle and resistance.
