Cuban Ambassador to the United States, Lianis Torres Rivera, has announced that Havana is preparing to defend itself against any possible American aggression, but has no intention of taking offensive action against Washington.
He has warned that any attack could turn into a bloodbath and stressed that Cuba is not a threat to the United States.
These statements come as Cuba faces a severe energy crisis, fuel shortages and widespread blackouts.
