Kremlin: Date of Putin’s visit to China to be announced soon

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the details of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China have been finalized and the date of the trip will be announced soon.

According to Peskov, Putin and Xi Jinping will discuss the results of Donald Trump’s recent visit to China in their upcoming meeting.

The Kremlin spokesman emphasized that Russian-Chinese relations are not limited to economic and trade cooperation, but also encompass the areas of education, humanitarian issues, and advanced technologies.

He also said that Moscow is closely following the results of the US-China talks because these relations are of particular importance to many countries, including Russia.

Peskov also described the energy situation in Cuba as “difficult” and said Russia was in contact with the Cuban leadership on this issue.
