Iran has not yet agreed to the next round of negotiations with the US

Tasnim News Agency, citing its correspondent, reported that relevant institutions have announced that Iran has not yet agreed to hold the next round of negotiations due to Trump’s statements regarding the naval blockade of Iran, as well as the Americans’ excessive demands that continue in recent messages exchanged.

Iran has emphasized that the Americans’ lack of excessive demands in the negotiations is the main condition for the process to continue, and otherwise it will not be willing to waste its time in erosive and fruitless negotiations.

According to information from a Tasnim reporter, this Iranian position was conveyed to American officials through a Pakistani intermediary.

At the same time, an Al Jazeera reporter reported that the results of the Pakistani delegation’s visit to the United States will determine the timing of the meeting between Tehran and Washington.

Noureddine Al-Dughir, Al Jazeera correspondent in Tehran, said

Information indicates that the Pakistani delegation has completed its mission in Tehran and is now heading to Washington. It is scheduled to meet with American officials around 9 a.m. Washington time, and the results of this meeting will determine the timing of the expected meeting between Tehran and Washington in Pakistan.
