On a dark night for the occupying regime, a powerful Iranian missile directly hit the city of Arad, south of the occupied territories. Published images show the collection of the remains of soldiers and settlers killed under the rubble.
After visiting the site of the attack, seeing the destruction, the cries of the victims’ families, and the extent of the damage, Itamar Ben-Governor, the extremist Israeli Interior Minister, openly expressed his shock.
The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that the search operation to find those trapped under the rubble by Iranian missiles in Arad is still ongoing, and rescue teams are conducting extensive searches.
The Israeli Emergency Management Organization announced that 88 people were taken to the hospital in Arad alone, 10 of whom are reported to be in critical condition. The Arad Town Council also announced the number of injured at approximately 100.
The Israeli army announced that the Chief of General Staff ordered the continuation of the investigation into the failure of air defenses to intercept missiles in Dimona and Arad. This failure demonstrates the inability of defense systems against advanced Iranian missiles.
This attack is part of the fourth wave of Operation Promise of Truth and has caused heavy damage to the regime’s infrastructure and morale.
