Unknown gunmen attack ISIS hideout near Peshawar, killing 11 members and wounding 3
Unidentified gunmen attacked a hideout of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Qambar Khel area of Peshawar, Pakistan, killing 11 and wounding three others.
According to reports, most of those killed in the attack were foreign nationals who had been transferred to the area after their centers were targeted by drone strikes in late November last year in the Jabarmila region.
Security sources announced that ISIS elements who fled from the Mastung area are now trying to resume their activities in the mountainous areas of Khyber Agency.
Al-Mursad news agency quoted local sources as saying that 11 ISIS fighters were killed and three others wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen in the Shanku area of Qambar Khel Bajaur last night.
